Lot J Paving Starts on April 30

Parking Shift & Temporary Traffic Patter for Lot J Park & Ride Paving Project

Beginning Thursday, April 30th, the Palisades Center Lot J Commuter Parking Facility will have temporary designated parking and a new traffic pattern to prepare for repaving. Starting Friday, May 1, commuters are asked to please park on the south side of the lot (as shown here and below: Lot J Parking Map Phase I) while the north side is repaved (Phase I). The bus stop will be temporarily relocated. In addition, the shelter and ticket vending machine will remain open and accessible.

Once the north side is complete, parking will shift for the south side paving (Phase II - as shown here and below: Lot J Parking Map Phase II). It is anticipated that the parking shift will occur on May 5 (weather permitting).

Overnight parking will not be allowed for the duration of the repaving project. The Rockland County Public Transportation Department appreciates the cooperation and patience of commuters during this important project.
